#8powerpoint and other teacher things

While getting the tour of the lab, I saw a lot of technologies that I didn't even knew existed. One that I found especially useful was the Echo Smartpen. I find that a lot of students find it difficult to concentrate in class and I believe this pen is a easy solution. We all dose off and doodle sometimes while taking notes and if your using this pen you can touch the pen to your doodles and listen to the lecture from that exact point on.

In Bloom's taxonomy there are 6 levels. We can use powerpoint for each level. For the first level, create, we would create the powerpoint with the most basic structure necessary.  In evaluate, you'd put support for what you're teaching. Analyze is where you differentiate and organize your information. Apply is where you may put things in your powerpoint to show how the information is executed and seeing if your students can apply the information in their own ways. For understand, having a section in the powerpoint where the students need to explain what was learned to see if they understand it. Lastly, for remember you can put a short quiz at the end of the powerpoint.

  2. I also wrote about the pen! I had a friend who had one in a class I took over the summer. It was so helpful when we were studying for tests.
